We call these casks 'Naked' because they've never held whisky before. This process adds a layer of rich and fruity flavour, creating a great tasting, versatile whisky, perfect for enjoying your way. Naked Malt is made from a selection of the world’s finest single malts. The ‘chosen ones’ are meticulously blended, then poured into our ‘Naked’ first-fill sherry casks. We nose, sample and basically interrogate thousands of hopeful casks to find the ones with the strength of character for our whisky. These casks have never held whisky before, Naked casks we call them. Our unique blend is extra-matured in these Naked sherry-seasoned casks for a minimum of six months. This is enough time for the Oloroso sherry seasoning to add a layer of rich and fruity flavour that makes Naked stand out from the crowd. With such a unique and versatile flavour, you don’t have to be restricted by the usual whisky ‘dos and don’ts’. So go on, dare to be different… enjoy Naked YOUR way!

APPLE SOUR RIPE, SOUR, CRISP How’d you like them apples? In a Whisky Sour of course! We recommend cooking apples for sourness, but you can use any kind you fancy. INGREDIENTS Ingredients 50ml Naked Malt 1 Freshly juiced Granny Smith apple 20ml Lemon juice 10ml Sugar syrup Shaken with basil Method 1. Add all ingredients into the shaker and shake with ice. 2. Strain over ice. 3. Garnish with lemon twist.
