Directions

How to Prepare Stovetop: Place frozen green beans into a small amount of boiling water. Cover; steam for 3 to 5 minutes or until tender. Drain and season to taste. Microwave: Place frozen green beans into a covered microwave-safe dish. Add 1/2 cup water and a 1/2 Tbsp. of butter (optional) and cook on high for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Microwave heating times may vary. Drain and season to taste. For food safety and best quality, cook to a temperature of 160 degrees F (71 degrees C). Cooking times may vary depending on power of microwave and type of container used. To return highest quality and texture, do not overcook. Great Ways to Enjoy: Lightly toss with butter and sprinkle with grated Parmesan, basil, dill, lemon juice, chopped peanuts or almonds. Prepare according to packaging instructions. Add a little cooked, crumbled bacon, diced ham, or chopped hard-boiled egg. Pair with Stahlbush Brown Rice and Black Beans and top with grated cheddar cheese, salsa and a spoonfool of sour cream for a quick, healthy lunch. Keep frozen.
