Pure Pleasure! This jewel of a wine reflects the essence of the Pacific Northwest terroir, soils developed over a million of years of fire, flood and shifting earth. This smooth, approachable red blend balances fruit with intriguing notes of oak, dark chocolate nibs and baking spices. The nose presents scents of huckleberries, toasted marshmallow, and chili pepper infused chocolate comingling with a sprinkle of resinous aromas like Douglas fir or red cedar and lilac other lifted floral aspects. The palate offers faint hints of tamarind, shoyu, olive tapenade, Tahitian vanilla and maple bar doughnuts. An open and generous wine without being heavy or officious.
