Planted in 1984, Klipsun Vineyard is known for producing powerful and elegant wine. From its inception, fruit from Klipsun has helped a group of elite Washington wineries craft world-class wines which have received multiple 100pt scores over the years. The first vintage to use Cabernet from our newest vineyard planting, which we chose to plant with our Cabernet clone of choice–FPS-4–from Terlato vineyards in Napa. Critically acclaimed with 93pts from Wine Spectator. We mixed numerous coopers and forests for this vintage that reflect our goal of using oak as the "spice" to "season" the incredible fruit.
