Remove batteries if expired or if product is to be left unused for an extended period of time. Do not expose batteries to fire or water. Do not attempt to recharge, use different sizes of batteries, or install batteries backwards. Never touch damaged or leaking batteries - this could result in burn injuries or cause serious internal injuries if swallowed. Obtain medical attention immediately if this occurs. Misuse can cause battery to overheat, rupture, leak, or explode, resulting in personal injury and/or property damage. Battery Warning: Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) and rechargeable batteries (nickel metal hydride). Do not mix old and new batteries. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the item before being charged (if removable). Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision (if removable). Exhausted batteries should be removed immediately and must be recycled or disposed of properly according to state or local government ordinances and regulations. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. Do not dispose batteries in a fire - batteries may leak or explode. Keep this instruction sheet for reference as it contains important information. For Initial Use: 1. Remove and discard plastic tab from battery compartment. 2. You have 2 operation options: option 1 - move the on/off switch to yellow to activate yellow light. Option 2 - move the on/off switch to color to activate color change light. To Replace Batteries: 1. Press the tab on the battery compartment lid inward and lift lid upward to remove. 2. Remove expired batteries and discard them properly. 3. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation. 4. Install 3 AAA batteries as shown on battery diagram in battery compartment. 5. Return battery compartment lid to its original position. Care: 1. For indoor use. 2. Keep from being submerged in water. 3. Turn off when not in use to save battery life. 4. Remove used batteries promptly.
