Dressing Mix: 1. Mix contents of package with 2 cups buttermilk and 2 cups mayonnaise. For diet dressing, use low - fat or fat - free mayonnaise, cottage cheese, or yogurt in place of mayonnaise. 2. Mix well with wire whisk or fork. 3. Keep covered in refrigerator. Mix well before serving. Dip and Topping: 1. Mix contents of package with 2 cups sour cream and 2 cups mayonnaise. 2. Mix well with wire whisk or fork. 3. Keep covered in refrigerator. Mix well before serving. For best results, mix Uncle Dan's several hours before serving, or even the night before.
