Preparation: Trim ends; remove any loose leaves. Cut an X into stem end. Tip- Cut Brussels Sprouts in half to reduce cook time. Oven-Roast Directions: 1. In a bowl, toss to coat Brussels Sprouts in olive oil, salt, and pepper. 2. Place on a baking sheet. 3. Roast at 400 degrees F for 35-45 minutes, shaking pan every 5 to 10 minutes for even browning. If halved, cook time is 25-30 minutes. 4. When product is nicely browned, tender, and has reached minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees F, remove from oven Caution: Product and dish may be hot. 5. Serve and enjoy. Microwave Directions: 1. Pierce bag with fork. 2. Place Brussels Sprouts in microwave. 3. Microwave on HIGH for 2-3 minutes, until Brussels Sprouts have reached a minimum internal. temperature of 165 degrees F and desired tenderness. Caution: Product and dish may be hot. 4. Allow to cool for 1 minute before removing; Serve and enjoy. Because microwaves vary, cook times are approximate. Serving Suggestions: Cut in half, toss in olive oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Roast in a 375 degrees F oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with roasted chicken, pot roasts, etc. Toss in balsamic vinegar, olive oil and seasonings, sauté with onions and mix with cooked pasta. Top with freshly grated Asiago cheese. Perishable. Keep refrigerated.
