Directions
Cooking Instructions: On the stove: 1: In a medium saucepan, add 1 cup of golden star brown jasmine rice to 1 1/2 cups water. 2: Cover with a tight fitting lid and bring to a boil. 3: Lower heat to simmer brown jasmine rice for 45 minutes, stirring once. 4: Remove from heat and let saucepan cool for 5 minutes, then fluff rice with fork and then serve. In the Microwave: Microwaveable bowl, add 1 cup of golden star jasmine rice to 1 3/4 cups water. Microwave for 15-20 minutes, uncovered, or until all water is absorbed. Let cool for 5 minutes, fluff rice and then serve. Please note that microwave ovens vary and cooking times are approximate. Note: For drier rice, remove 1/4 cup water. For moister rice, add 1/4 cup more water. Tear or cut.
