Open to Whatcom County Students K-12

Three Entry Categories

Elementary — Grade K-5
Middle School — Grade 6-8
High School — Grade 9-12

Important Dates:

Entries due by Feb 19, 2012
Voting – Feb 8 through Feb 22, 2012

Two ways to enter:

1. Students submit your entry and design for a Haggen reusable bag on Facebook. Go to www.facebook.com/haggen for more information.
2. Download and print the entry form. Deliver your design and completed entry form to the Guest Service Counter at one of the following stores: Sehome, Fairhaven Market, Meridian & Illinois, Barkley or Ferndale. If your design is delivered to a Haggen store, your artwork and entry will be scanned and posted into the contest App on Haggen’s Facebook page within 48 hours.

Voting takes place February 8 through February 22

Each eligible entry will be publicly posted on Sponsor's Facebook App. The design submitted with each entry will be judged by members of the public and entrants. Users will be permitted on one vote per day, per category (K-5, 6-8 and 9-12).

Winner Selection

At the end of the Promotion Period, the top ten (10) entries with the highest votes in each category will advance to the second round. The top ten entries will be judged by a qualified panel of judges on the following criteria, which will be given the indicated weights: originality and creativity (50%), prominence of "Northwest Fresh" or prominence of "Bellingham Goes Green" (50%).
