Lake Stevens firefighters raising funds by delivering Valentine’s Day flowers

February 1, 2011 • Lake Stevens

The only thing better than ordering flowers for delivery to your sweetheart on Valentine’s Day is knowing that the delivery fee will support a charity.

Off-duty personnel from the Lake Stevens Fire Department will raise funds for the Northwest Burn Foundation by delivering Valentine’s Day flowers through Haggen’s Hearts on Fire program.

Firefighters in uniform will deliver flowers that are ordered from the Lake Stevens Haggen Food & Pharmacy at 8915 Market Place N.E. (425-377-7100). Deliveries will be made in the Lake Stevens area from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday Feb. 14 (Valentine’s Day). Advance orders are requested to ensure the off-duty personnel can make as many deliveries as possible. Haggen is donating the delivery fees to the local firefighters for their Northwest Burn Foundation drive.
