The Sweetest Peach of the Year Has Arrived!

Our first shipment of the much anticipated Pence and Maryhill Peaches has arrived! Pence (available in Washington) & Maryhill (available in Oregon) Peaches are sweeter and juicier than your average peach and we have the science to back it up! We use the Brix scale to measure the sugar, ripeness and nutrient density. All of our peaches are above 13 on the scale and reach into the unbelievable deliciousness of an 18. This unmatched sweetness is cultivated by waiting until the peak of ripeness to pick, then carefully packing the fruit right in the field to ensure a pristine condition.

Bert Pence of Pence Orchards in Waptato, Washington showed us around his beautiful orchard last month as the peaches were delicately ripening under the warm Wapto sun. Joined by their family dog, Moby, we got to see first hand how just weeks ago these sweet stone fruits were clinging to the branches of Bert’s peach trees as they matured their way to the plump, coral orbs that are delivered freshly to our store.
