Haggen Reusable Bag
Apples fresh from the orchard, sweet summertime berries, and beef raised on Washington pastures by ranchers we know. Carry your Haggen reusable bag with pride, knowing that you’re supporting the people who provide us all with the bounty of fresh, delicious food that’s grown right here in the Northwest.
Haggen Northwest Fresh. From here, for you.
Look for our seal of approval on items throughout our store
We feel great about the foods we stock, because we have long-standing relationships with so many of the people who grow, catch, produce and handle them. We don’t use our Haggen Quality stamp lightly, so when you see it, you can be sure you’re in for something special. If for any reason it doesn’t meet your expectations, we’ll take it back and make it right.
Food & Pharmacy since 1933
Haggen was born and raised in the Northwest. Over the past 80 years we’ve grown to become the Northwest’s leading family-owned grocery chain, but in our hearts we’ll always be that little Bellingham store that Ben and Dorothy Haggen started with Doug Clark back in 1933.
Having grown right alongside our neighbors, we feel a special connection to the people we serve and have dedicated ourselves to providing our customers with the very best quality, personal service, and the latest innovations from around the world. We are proud of the many nationwide firsts we’ve introduced in our stores, from fresh seafood on ice to an FTD Floral department to the first in-store Starbucks!
We take care of the place we call home.
We at Haggen take pride in our long history of leading the way in sustainability and conservation. From sourcing and recycling eco-friendly materials to investing in energy efficient lighting and equipment, we love finding new ways to lower our environmental impact, but our most effective initiative by far is one that has been central to our business all along: buying locally.

Wellness is all about making the right choices
One of the things we love about the Northwest is the awareness people have about the impact their choices make on their own health as well as the health of their environment. Haggen provides plenty of options to supplement many different lifestyles.
