Support Your School with School Bucks

Community

Every fall, with a mix of emotions, our children say goodbye to the lazy days of summer and hello to a fresh new school year. We want to make each year a little brighter for our kids, but we need your help too. Through our School Bucks program any time you purchase participating items with a School Bucks tag, we donate a percentage of the sale of each item directly to the school of your choice.  It’s easy and it’s free, and all you have to do is shop for your groceries. Visit our School Bucks registration page or Guest Services to link or re-link your card today!  If you participated last year, your card will need to be re-linked each year to the school of your choice.

Bellingham Public School Foundation 002Together we raised $21,406 for 310 schools during last school year and our local schools used the donated money where they needed it most. Like Bellingham Public Schools, which used their School Bucks donation to purchase new materials and equipment and enhance their cross-district program, Promise K, to help close opportunity gaps. Or Bernice Vossbeck Elementary in Lynden, Washington, which used their donation to put on a very successful Jog-a-Thon to help raise additional money for new laptops.

Even if you don’t have a child at a local school, you can still link your CARD to a school in your community to help your local school with the needed funds for enrichment activities, academic materials and school-based special projects. Don’t have a Haggen CARD? Visit Guest Services to sign up!

Here’s How It Works

First: Go to our School Bucks registration page or visit Haggen Guest Services and link or re-link your Haggen CARD to your school (public or private, preschool to 12th grade).

Then: Purchase participating School Bucks products with your Haggen CARD and Haggen will contribute a percentage of the sale to your school from September 3, 2014 thru May 15, 2015.
