Haggen Bakery Scones

Our Haggen bakers wake up at the crack of dawn to make sure that the bakery case is full by the time you’re ready for breakfast. Our scratch-made buttermilk scones add a sweet, eye-catching touch to any weekend brunch, and are just as tasty with your morning coffee on your way to work. Pick up a box to share, and choose from raspberry, blueberry, lemon or plain…or taste all four!

1. The ingredients are combined in a mixer to form a thick dough.

2. A round baking dish is used to form the dough into a perfectly round circle.

3. The dough is cut into 8 even slices, like a pie.

4. Each wedge-shaped slice is baked to golden perfection in the oven.

5. Fresh out of the oven, the scones are placed on a cooling rack and drizzled with a sweet glaze.
