School Bucks Program Overview & Fact Sheet


•    School Bucks is a school fund-raising program that provides schools with an effective way to earn money for educational equipment and supplies. Money raised by School Bucks is used by 501(c)3 organizations or organizations that support school activities.

•    The Program is offered in all Washington and Oregon Haggen locations.

•    All approved and accredited, nonprofit, private and public schools (K-12), in the communities in which Haggen stores operate, are eligible for participation. Haggen reserves the right to determine the validity of each educational institution requesting enrollment in the School Bucks program.

•    Must be a Haggen C.A.R.D.® member to participate; must be 16 years or older to be eligible for a C.A.R.D. Anyone under the age of 16 may use a parents/household C.A.R.D.  

•    C.A.R.D. members link their Haggen C.A.R.D. to their favorite school by completing a form click here, calling our Member Hotline at 800-995-1902 or at any Haggen store.

•    C.A.R.D. members may choose one school per household that remains linked to their Haggen C.A.R.D. until re-enrollement is required.

•    School Bucks is simple. Haggen provides schools with promotional tools tracks school selections and Haggen donations. There are no register receipts or product labels to collect.

•    When Haggen guests use their C.A.R.D. to purchase Haggen brand products, Haggen donates 5¢ per product to their designated school. Nearly 2,000 products are marked with the School Bucks logo. C.A.R.D. members can choose from Haggen, Haggen Premier, Food Club, Paws, Full Circle, ValuTime, World Classics, Top Care, Academix, Domestix, Easyclix, Electrix, CharKing and TerraVida items.

•    To respect the privacy of our C.A.R.D. members, no reports of individual contributors will be released to schools.

•    This offer is void where taxed, restricted or prohibited by law.

•    The more shoppers’ schools enroll, the more money they will earn. Spread the word by including School Bucks information in school newspapers and newsletters. Promote School Bucks at school assemblies and meetings and send School Bucks enrollment forms home with students.  

•    Representatives from Haggen are available to assist schools with School Bucks and Haggen C.A.R.D. enrollments. Ideal events are PTSO meetings, talent shows, book sales or any other event where parents and community members may be present.
